Step 1: Build the Green Base
Insert olive + ruscus in a wide oval outline
Add eucalyptus to soften edges
Leave center slightly open
👉 You’re creating the skeleton
Step 2: Place the Lilies (Focal Points)
Place 3 main lily groupings:
center
slightly left
slightly right
👉 This creates a visual triangle
Step 3: Add White Roses (Foundation)
Fill around lilies evenly
Keep spacing natural, not tight
👉 This creates the “cloud of mercy” base
Step 4: Add Cream Roses / Peonies
Tuck between whites
Focus near center and midline
👉 This adds richness and depth
Step 5: Introduce the RED (Most Important Step)
This is where most people go wrong.
Do NOT cluster.
Instead:
Place 1 red bloom
Move across arrangement
Place next in a different zone
Think:
👉 left → right → center → back → front
You should end up with:
small sparks of red throughout
👉 The eye should discover the red, not be hit by it
Step 6: Add Blue Delphinium (Vertical Movement)
Insert slightly taller than the rest
Keep airy and spaced
👉 This mimics the upward flow of mercy
Step 7: Final Balance Check
Ask:
Is red evenly distributed?
Are there gaps in the base?
Does the eye move naturally?
Adjust gently.
