Instructions

Toast the Almonds

  • In a dry pan over medium heat, toast sliced almonds for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until golden and fragrant.
  • Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Brie

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • If desired, cut a shallow crosshatch pattern on top of the Brie to allow the flavors to infuse.
  • Place the Brie wheel on a small parchment-lined baking sheet or oven-safe dish.

Infuse & Bake

  • In a small bowl, mix fig extract (or fig tea), vanilla extract, honey (or alternative), and cinnamon.
