Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned lychees in syrup reserve syrup
  • ½ cup cold water or coconut water
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 6 –8 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tsp rosewater optional but exotic
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional Additions:
  • Sparkling water or soda water for fizz
  • 1 –2 oz white rum gin, or vodka (for cocktail version)
  • Garnish:
  • Extra lychees
  • Lime wheels
  • Fresh mint sprigs
  • Edible rose petals optional

Instructions

  • Muddle Flavor Base:
  • In a cocktail shaker or mason jar, gently muddle the fresh mint leaves with lime juice and 1–2 tablespoons of lychee syrup.
  • Add rosewater if using.
  • Blend (Optional for a Slushy Version):
  • Add lychees and cold water (or coconut water) to a blender and pulse until smooth.
  • Strain for a clearer drink, or leave pulpy for texture.
  • Shake or Stir:
  • Combine the muddled base with the lychee blend, add ice, and shake or stir well.
  • Top Off:
  • Pour into chilled glasses. Add sparkling water if desired for fizz.
  • Garnish & Serve:
  • Garnish with lychees, lime slices, mint sprigs, and rose petals for an elegant touch.
