Sparkling Citrus Water
Ingredients
- 1 liter sparkling mineral water or club soda unsweetened
- 1 small orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 lime, thinly sliced
- 1/2 grapefruit, thinly sliced optional, for color and depth
- Fresh mint or basil leaves about 1/4 cup
- Ice cubes
- Optional garnish: edible flowers, citrus zest curls
Instructions
- Chill your ingredients: Refrigerate sparkling water and citrus slices at least 1 hour before serving.
- Build the base: In a large glass pitcher, gently layer the citrus slices and fresh mint or basil. Fill the pitcher halfway with ice.
- Pour: Slowly pour in the chilled sparkling water to preserve the fizz.
- Garnish and serve: Serve in clear glasses or stemless wine glasses with extra ice and fruit. Garnish with an extra citrus slice or fresh mint sprig for elegance.
