Ingredients

  • 1 cup Swerve® Confectioners Erythritol 96 g
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable Glycerin 45 g
  • 2 tbsp Mint Extract McCormick’s, 30 g
  • 1 tbsp Baking Soda 14 g
  • Optional: ¼ tsp xanthan gum 1 g – for improved emulsification & texture
  • Optional: ⅛ tsp citric acid 0.5 g – mild preservative & pH balancer (see note below)

Instructions

  • Step One – Combine Dry Ingredients
  • Whisk together erythritol and baking soda in a small bowl. If using xanthan gum, include it here.
  • Step Two – Blend Liquids
  • In a separate bowl, mix glycerin and mint extract until uniform. Stir in optional citric acid, if using.
  • Step Three – Mix Thoroughly
  • Slowly incorporate dry mix into liquid blend, stirring constantly. Use a silicone spatula or small whisk to combine until smooth and paste-like. Adjust thickness with additional glycerin (½ tsp at a time) if needed.

Notes

Transfer to a sterile squeeze tube or lidded glass jar. Store in a cool, dark place or refrigerate for maximum freshness.
